West London Aero Club offer flying experience gift vouchers and trial flying lessons at our Berkshire based airfield. With four different types of aircraft to chose from there is something for everyone.
Whether you want to discover the world of aviation for yourself or to give a flying experience gift voucher to a friend, this is an experience never to be forgotten. A voucher is an excellent treat for both the young and the old and can be a real saviour when you are in that last-minute, ‘don’t know what to buy’ situation. Especially good for the man who has everything! Combine it with lunch in the clubhouse watching the world fly by on a sunny day and you have the perfect present.
At WLAC we are open 7 days a week from 8am, in the summer we are operational until 8pm and until dusk in the winter. Once you have received your voucher you can make your booking We advise calling well in advance if you want to fly at the weekend. We also recommend that you dress to suit the weather ie sunglasses if its very sunny, warm clothing if its cold and no high heels to interfere with the grass or the pedals in the aircraft!
All trial flying lessons and flying experiences begin with a briefing from the Instructor. You will get the opportunity to take the controls yourself and experience the feeling of piloting a light aircraft. During the lesson the instructor will explain and demonstrate various manoeuvres giving you the chance to have a go at climbing, descending, straight and level, and turning left and right. You will also get an opportunity to just sit back and enjoy the view!
