DO YOU KNOW THE RULES OF THE LOCAL FLYING AREA?
White Waltham Aerodrome is partially situated within the London Control Zone. The Local Flying Area (LFA) is defined as that portion of the ATZ contained within the London Control Zone.
The MAXIMUM ALTITUDE for traffic within the White Waltham LFA is 1500’ QNH. Be advised that the height of the ATZ above the ground in that part of the airfield is 1373’ QFE. Any unauthorised entry into controlled airspace will have serious repercussions.
